So finally it happened. I uploaded couple of pics to 1x.com and submitted one for selection. After one week it was selected to be presented in photo of the day part. This pic wasn’t previously shown anywhere, so here it is! Hope you like it.

European Bisons

This year I eventually found some time to visit wonderful Białowieża and find bisons there. Of course you can easily go and see bisons in the park, but it’s not challenging. More interesting is to hunt for them in the wild. It’s not that difficult in wintertime when they have not too much food available. There are couple of places where hay is served for animals. Bisons know these places and use them as a kind of winter restaurant. Unfortunately when I went to Białowieża this year even in these known places it was not easy to catch them. After visiting seven or eight such places we finally found them near Siemianówka. And they were behaving well and allowed us to take couple of pics.

Last Everglades shots

Everglades National Park in December is not as good as just a month later. There are not many birds thus not many good shots opportunities. But I caught some other birds as well and there’s the last part of my pics from this amazing place…

Purple Gallinule

White Ibis

Ibis is very interesting bird. There’s plenty of them in southern Florida and it’s almost guaranteed to be seen in Everglades NP. I was playing a little bit with these birds, but unfortunately had no luck to catch it in some interesting pose. So you can enjoy only classic portraits of this amazing creature!
